FAMOUS MOMBASA SCULPTURES MOVED.
Mombasa's Iconic wildlife sculptures were removed from the locations in Mombasa county also known by many as " The Island city" on Wednesday.
This follows a row between Mombasa cement which used the sculpture to beautify Mombasa band the county government of Mombasa over a controversial directive ordering the company to stop philanthropic activities at public hospitals in Mombasa.
As many express their strong disapproval of the decision made by the county government of Mombasa to discontinue the practices of Mombasa cement.
"Yes!" Mombasa cement has done tremendous work on beatification and constantly demonstrated it's commitment in supporting patients by paying their hospital bills,
but I agree with the decision of the county government of Mombasa.

I will base my opinion and argument in a manner that anyone reading this will totally agree with me.
MOMBASA CEMENT has done so much for humanity but his gesture is being abused by a few money-hungry people at Makadara hospital.
His readiness to help the needy has been turned into a cashcow by the corrupt individuals who are hellbent to deny the county government much needed cash to run the health sector.
We all know that at Coast General, the mode of payment was and has always been through mpesa.
This method had deterred corruption in the health sector.
Not known to the common mwananchi , the new way of fleecing the county government presented itself in a new disguise, your inability to pay the charges.
Let me take you step by step,
1. You have received services at Makadara and is unable to pay.
2. You approach Mombasa Cement for assistance.
3. Assistance is granted and you are told the amount has been settled by Mombasa Cement.
HERE IS WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW!
1.THE BILLS ARE SETTLED IN CASH AT THE HOSPITAL e.g. 2 Million
2. THE AMOUNT IS/SHOULD BE BANKED
As a Kenyan you can guess the third point......
3. NOT ALL THE AMOUNTS PAID IN BY MOMBASA CEMENT IS BANKED, why?
4. THE "🦅VULTURES MUST EAT" You all know what I mean.
Therefore I'd be happy and advise the management and ownership of Mombasa cement compact to comply with the regulations that have been tabled by the county government of Mombasa to allow effeciency operations and cooperation between the Mombasa cement company's management,
the county government of Mombasa and it's residents.
MOMBASA CEMENT IS A TRUE PATRIOT OF MOMBASA AND SHOULDN'T INVOLVE ITSELF IN SHODDY DEALs.
Go write up Nickolas... looking forward to read more from you
